When should I arrive to Beaufort for the Wedding?

We suggest that you plan to arrive in Beaufort no later than Saturday, May 23rd. Our goal in having our Wedding here at the Beaufort Hotel is for our guests to enjoy a little vacation time if they wish. Thus, if you would like to arrive earlier than Saturday, we have designated room blocks in the "Haddock/Adkins Wedding" beginning on Thursday, May 21st .

Am I able to bring my children?

We will be hosting an ADULT ONLY wedding (with the exception of close family members who will be in attendance just for the ceremony.) If you wish to bring your child to the Haddock/Adkins Wedding Weekend in Beaufort, please note you will be responsible for child care throughout the duration of the ceremony and reception.

Is it appropriate to take photos during the ceremony?

We ask that you please refrain from any and all cell phone use during our ceremony. More than anything, we want you to BE PRESENT! If you forget this preference due to all the excitement, no worries. We will have our officiant give a gentle reminder before the ceremony begins.

What should I do if I'm running late for the ceremony?

If you are running 5-10 minutes late, we ask that you find a seat quietly and politely. If you are running 15 + minutes late, we ask that you stand in the back until the ceremony commences in order to not make any disruptions.

Can I bring a plus one?

We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing a plus one, mainly due to the cost of food and beverage during the reception. We have specifically listed out in each invitation all individuals who are invited.

What is the attire for the wedding?

Our wedding attire is Black Tie Formal! For the men, a suit is required (tuxedos are optional.) For the women, it is required to wear floor length dresses. We ask that you refrain from wearing bold colors such as neon green, orange, pink, yellow, or purple. White is also prohibited.

What should I do if I am unable to make it?

If you sent in your RSVP stating you will be in attendance but will not be able to come, we ask that you let Meredith or Chase know ASAP. We have strict deadlines with our catering team and will need to know a head count within 30 days.

What if i'm not staying at the Beaufort Hotel?

If you choose not to stay at the Beaufort Hotel, we highly advise that you find a local Air BNB / VRBO near by. We will NOT be providing any transportation for guests who choose to stay elsewhere. However, there is Valet parking available on property and if you need to leave your car overnight, you are able to do so with pick up being before 12 PM the next day (Monday, May 25th.)
